Re: Has anyone had Mirena cause them to have seizures?

i am 33 yr old mother of two kids and i recently had the mirena put in april 29th 2011 the same day i had abortion done for my personal reasons so i knew my body been threw alot i asked the dr at planned parent hood if that would hurt my body in anyway and if it was safe her response was yes and i got an infection a few days later i knew something was wrong my symptoms were cramping of my stomach that was painfull sharp pains that came and went and also numbness of certain parts of my body & never had this happen to me until mirena i also had flu like symptoms that tylenol/motrin would not take away not even alil so they told me to come in as soon as possible and i had an infection the dr said could of came from the abortion and her words exactly we cant sterilize evrythng ever since iv had mirena in me iv had chills n bodyaches that dont go away and june 12th i couldnt handle bodyaches no more so i went hospital i passed out in front of er and went into full seizure never in my life have i had so many problems until this mirena i cant believe this happen to me and im scared each day i believe the mirena did this to me this week im taking out mirena cause i couldve been drving with my kids and killed us all over a dam birth control they obviously never tested properly im so upset words cant describe.
