Iodine for Kidney Infection?
Hi,
I posted a long post in a few other forums, so I won't go into great detail here, however I have a long-standing kidney infection that I'm trying to clear. (By long-standing I mean that I've had it for a year or two, but it has been rather mild, and I've been trying natural methods the whole time, with not much luck.)
My doc wants me to take Cipro, but from what I've read, Cipro is a serious poison, so I'm really hesitant to cooperate with that. On the other hand, I need to clear this infection...
I was thinking of taking a larger dose than usual of
Lugols (I normally only take 3-4 drops per day of the half-strength stuff, so that's maybe 6 or 8 mg per day (?)). Maybe I should try the 50-100 mg recommended by some folks, once or twice per day, along with something strong like Oregano Oil??? I'm at a loss here, but I know that
Iodine is anti-bacterial, and I just can't believe that the only way to cure this is with a deadly poison like Cipro!
Does anyone have any advice on this?
Thanks so much!
