Do you ever apply face masks, such as with any type of clay (bentonite, French Green, etc.)? Doing this a couple of times a week can draw out impurities from your skin. Also, gentle exfoliation can help, such as scrubs made with fine Sugar or ground apricot kernels.
Also, the use of natural skin toners can do wonderful things, such as Witch Hazel ... you can mist with this as often as you like and it will soothe, soften, and kill bacteria. Applying aloe vera can also be of benefit.
