well i have pcos. i found that vitamin A helped. i took it with purified fish oil, not too sure but think u need to have good essential fatty acids for a to be absorbed. purified is the way to go for fish oil. i buy ethical nutrients. also insulin resistance could be related to vitamin d levels. maybe ask doctor for a blood test for vitamin d. i also recommend ethical nutrients vitamin d, as it is probably purified. :D vitamin d needs vitamin a to be absorbed. if u want to get nitty gritty on ur skin... to improve it, u could chuck in vitamin c 1000mg a day. possibly with vitamin e too :D
