I think in some cases it is not so much the act of being grounded that causes a healthy response as it is avoiding an electromagnetic field [EMF] in your normal sleeping quarters.

The main electrical panel is located in our bedroom. Plus about 500 feet from our home is a high voltage power line. My wife's systolic blood pressure is often high at home being in the 160s but when at my parents house it is usually considerably lower. Last time it was only 128 while visiting my parents.

I got to thinking that it could be the EMF she was exposed to at home. For some people, merely sleeping outdoors could possibly make a difference without being earthed or grounded since you may be away from the EMF that is indoors. [Simply sleeping in a tent does not make you grounded especially if you are on an air mattress etc.]

Earthing or grounding your body while indoors where the EMF is located can neutralize the effects of the EMF. At least that is what we are counting on. We ordered an earthing bed sheet last week and expect it to arrive today.
