Re: "my tooth just fell out!": a bit more on the subject
Readers might well be frightened by the prospect of losing teeth on a water fast. I have read quite a bit of the fasting literature and satisfied myself before my first
Water Fast that I likely wouldn't lose any teeth -- that is to say, it's not a common occurance; and no suprise the poster was very alarmed and frightened.
That said, it was a problem with a tooth that sort of led me first to the water fast. I had lost an old filling in an upper tooth (which the body naturally wants to expel), and the tooth was bothering me--but I did not want to go to a dentist. Nor have it refilled... Nor could I really afford what I'm sure would have been "prescribed" considering my age and the age of other fillings I still have.
I just want to report that that first
Water Fast (of 29 days) resolved a lot of minor issues and the tooth one was a big fear. Granted, it hasn't "remineralized", yet :-) --but I still have hope. And I also like the idea od stem clels regrowing teeth. And the tooth never bothers me now--it;s good and tight too--was looser before. If I get a slight twinge, I
Water Fast again.
