Re: Dry Fast Day 3

Hi Julian,

I believe that your body requires from you as much rest as possible to heal. I wish you a happy fasting.

I am sure that any vigorous exercise does not promote a deep healing. However, I listen to my body carefully and I am not able to refuse its demands; When I am full of energy even when I dry fast, I must release it somehow to feel better - that is why I grabbed my skipping rope and spent some time in my backyard jumping among green trees, colorful flowers, bird singing, bees buzzing... At this moment my physical activity serves less as a sport and more as a form of a soothing, calming meditation. It is the only form of a meditation I am able to perform.

However, I also realize that it makes no sense to abuse my body by forcing it to exercise when I fast and feel drained and weak; I know that it is a time to take as much rest as possible.

Love,
Anne
