Dry Fast Day 3
Hi,
My 3rd day of a dry fast is over. Since I am an experienced dry faster, I am not able to describe any unusual or tragic events that might have happened to me.
I know - some of us can hardly survive a few hours without food, so those who also refuse even a drop of water for a day or two are expected to give at least some juicy details about how they struggled to keep their bodies alive.
Unfortunately, there has been no drama during my last 3 days. I have felt good all the time - no hunger, no fatigue, no pain, no fever (too early for it). I was able to fulfill all my regular, daily responsibilities as a homemaker - I drove my husband to work and my daughter to school, I went shopping, cleaned the house from top to bottom, did some gardening (weeding, lawn mowing, planting some flowers), went to the library for new books; I also exercised to keep my spirit up, spent some time web-surfing, reading and sun-bathing when it stopped raining
My sleep and mood are still perfect but I soon expect to sleep less and feel tired and irritated.
Please do not interpret my post as a promotion of a dry fast. I do not intend to promote dry fasting; I simply share my own experience when I fast without water. I believe that a dry fast may serve my health well because I feel I am properly prepared for this radical way of fasting. I needed several years to be able to dry fast and feel comfortable. I do not advocate dry fasting for an individual who consumes a Standard American Diet.
Love,
Anne
