Re: Does high iodine intake increase mercury excretion?

great question.

I certainly feel like it has stirred the heavy metal pot for me at times. And chelating has diminished those symptoms...not proof but something.

Dr. Flechas told me last summer when I did a test with his FFP labs: I did loading, bromide and heavy metal screen for fun...The heavy metal test was completed by Genova Labs....anyway Flechas told me that he often see patients with high metals on the test, then he puts them on Iodine for one year and retests and the metals are down to zero. I will plan on doing the test again in a couple of months ....it will be curious to see.

some people are better detoxers than others. I have friends who got their fillings out and it changed their lives....huge healing. I got mine out before I knew about Andy Cutler and didn't chelate and 6 months later or so my health took a serious downturn. So go figure........

Personally, I think my kidneys and liver are so congested that detox is poor for me. So that is where I am putting a lot of attention these days......
