Re: Being your own doctor sucks!
Hello shroom....
I am concerned that if a doctor were to diagnose and treat you for Chron's, that the doctor would prescribe steroids. As you are probably already aware, steroids are very bad when one has parasites, st least this is true with E. histolytica, because steroids depress the immune system and this can lead to
parasites (E.h.) getting outside the intestinal tract and into other organs.
The reason for the steroids of course is to reduce inflammation. But when we stop the inflammaotry process...while we feel better.....doesn't that interfere with the immune process? Isn't this one of our biggest problems when dealing with parasites?
I hate it. Today I had a very bad inflammatory attack. I have taken xanax, Alka-aid, lots of Marshmallow root caps and some probiotics alittle while ago. It seems a bit eased now but still not optimal.
I hope you can get some relief. I am scouring the net again...looking for answers. I may be wrong about this....but I think a lot of people are suffering with amoebas. They just don't find them. As you have said to me, usually if you have one parasite, you are likely to have more going on. I have heard this before.
