If I have digestive issues, wouldn't there be issues getting it into my body?

Also, what is the typical dose that I should work up to?
If using the powdered herb, and it is not concentrated or standardized, then I recommend a half teaspoon of the powder 3 times daily again at least 20 minutes before a meal.
