Re: Does anyone ever give you grief because of fasting?

Oh yes, I completely understand. However, I've found that as time passes people have become more aware of the benefits having seen them through my example, and they have learned to trust my judgement.

I've fasted, not only for weightloss but for health, dozens of times. My longest fast was 145 days and it goes down in variation from there. During my longest fast people thought I was going to die at any moment. I changed a lot of minds during that fast. My health was amazing and I looked amazing. :) The benefits were undeniable.

The problem I've had is those who think the weight is just going to pile back on afterwards. It will if you go nuts, but if you're good and eat the healthy Diet you should be eating, the weight stays off. I have to adhere to a stricter diet than most because I have a health issue that make me gain weight (lots of weight), so my caloric intake has to be likened to that of a small bird until I find a cure to my health issue... Fun. :) People see this and think that fasting was worthless if this is how you have to eat, but this is my reality, not others.
