Re: Breast Pain
O.K.
Here is the deal. I can hear your pain loud and clear. If you read my past posts, I am a "breast cancer survivor"
Briefly....
* Bad periods my whole life. Cramping so bad I thought I should be hospitalized each month.
* Diagnosed with DCIS at age 26.
* Didn't know better and was given a mastectomy with reconstruction.
* Was even told by my doctor that "the cancer will never spread, it will never kill you and it is stage 0". Still cut my breast off.
* Spent tons of money on alternative doctors and made small strides each month.
* Found this forum and the lovely Wombat, Trapper, Just thinking and GinaGirl, to name a few.
* Like you, I had every single side effect of iodine.
* Eyes burned, tongue burned, back hurt, breast hurt, depression, headaches, anxiety, etc. etc. etc.
* I just kept reading and reading and reading and following my own body and used that search bar.
* I slowly improved but it took me a long time to get this way so I knew it would take me a while to get back.
* What is really working for me right now is I am taking bee pollen from a local bee keeper (1 teas. twice a day), MAX STRESS B - 1 teas. a day (this is the best supplement I have found. It is beyond awesome but expensive), selenium, magnesium malate (
Epsom Salts baths twice a week, a protein shake every morning with coconut oil, blueberries, bananas and chia seeds and high fermented cod liver oil.
* I was taking 50 mg. of
Iodine up until 2 months ago when I got a really weird period where I bled off and on for a month. I took a break from it but I just started again but slowly.
* I find the virgin coconut oil really helps along with that b vitamin. My breast hurts sometimes again which is why I went back on iodine.
* Find a thermographer in your area (I use one in Long Island New York) who can work with you.
* I have major problems since the reconstruction. I get hernia's, and major posture problems. Do the research.
Please stay the course. It is well worth it in the long run. Take a break from the
Iodine if needed but you will eventually find the health you wanted. It just takes time and tweaking. This forum changed my life.
