You are right about alot of things that you said - one hungry child may feed thousands, loveless homes can be affluent.
I don't disagree with you on those points.
I would (if I were ruler of the world) sterilize junkies and people convicted of a certain class of child abuse.
I would forceable limit the number of children people could have based on their income or potential income.

No I don't think that only wealthy affluent people should have children. I know many affluent parents that are rotten parents, have way too many children to be able to give emotionally what each child needs. That is why I advocate 2 children per family,

However, I also think that having children that you can't feed and cloth and shelter is morally wrong. And if the parents aren't responsible enough see this, then I think they should be sterilized.

I am not one to knock welfare families, because i know that for most people it is a safety net that is used for a limited amount of time. However, no young single woman who is on welfare and likely to stay on welfare, should be allowed more than two children. The same goes for the man, if he can't or won't support his children, he shouldnt be allowed to have any more.
