Re: some thoughts on our condition

I do still suffer from the condition but thankfully I've recovered from my recent worsening on a certain Caribbean island. No one seems to notice it until the last couple days of the cycle, at which point I try my hardest not to get food stains on the dead, hardened skin.

When I suspected Candida, I had tried Clotrimazole 2% for about a month, because of my oral pathologists' suggestion, which did nothing positive that I could tell for the rate and area of peeling. I also became concerned about ingesting it during my sleep, which was the only time during the day I felt comfortable applying the opaque white cream. I later tried Nystatin and Grapefruit Seed Extract which also had no observable effect. Other natural antifungals like coconut oil seemed to have little effect but I felt fine about swallowing them.

I didn't create that website, that was montrealhomegrown. As I've noted in several recent posts, I stuck to similar diets which gradually improved the rate of peeling, but did not put an end to it. Montrealhomegrown's regimen was about more than just dieting, however, and involved boosting your immune system, proper breathing, reducing stress, and frequent exercise, included abdominal exercise. As my teaching job comes to an end, I will be able to experiment with the full panel of montrealhomegrown's recommendations.
