concerned about iodine

Hi i am 17 and am dealing with adrenal fatigue (low cortisol, low progesterone, low t), hypothyroid, and candida overgrowth of the intestines.

I am being treated with nystatin, adaptogens, adrenal concentrate, licorice, and some antifungal herbs.

But my question is, is it ok to be supplementing with iodoral? For the past month i've taken 30mg of iodoral every morning with 1 tsp of salt and a big glass of water. I did this to load my body with Iodine as i thought might be helpful.

But now i am questioning if this is healthy, it seems to be controversial, some say the Iodine causes a selenium deficiency, others say the extra Iodine is harmlessly and easily excreted. Can someone clear this up? I have not been diagnosed with low iodine absorption, though my intake before loading was near nothing. I do have low morning body temperatures, they have remained at 96.5, and stay around 97.5 in the day.
