Re: Can you describe the brain fog and dizziness?

I like your cockroach analogy! I'll have to remember that one.

The brain fog/lack of energy is still my worst symptom (18 months post). It's like:

--wet blanket on my head
--that I weigh 1000 pounds and gravity is pulling me to earth
--there is a pressure over the tops of my ears and up to the top of my head that feels a little like sinus
--my eyes are not fully open, and are dull instead of bright
--like my brain/memory is 70-80 years old

All of this is constant and has NEVER gone away since I had the Mirena put in--except for 2 hours the day after I started the progesterone cream and 2 hours after I started a decent period one day. Those are the only 2 occasions in 4 years I have felt like my old, normal self from pre Mirena.

There are times when it feels worse and I can barely get a coherent sentence out, but even at my best I am way "dumber" than I was before.

Sorry--way too much complaining on my part. But honestly, I could stand the all over constant pain if my brain would work and I had my old energy.
