Yes, as well as home sales that don't actually close.

But more important is the GDP deflator which is based on make believe inflation values...

Simple math, if the GDP comes in at 6% and the deflator is only 1% you have 5% GDP. If you use the correct value of perhaps 4-5% for the deflator on that 6% you get maybe 2% and that includes all the financial profits of moving non existant FIAT around...

Wiley Coyotee comes to mind everytime I think about this...
