Eating when one has cancer...?...?..

Hi everybody

I know this is a water only fasting forum, but since my question is related to fasting nil by mouth I would appreciate to hear your takes on this.

Not too long ago, a tumour on my mum's ovary was found. She'll be having chemotherapy and an operation. My mum has told me she was advised to eath healthily as to prevent nutrient loss.

Now I'm at loss: as far as I know, ill people fast naturally since they have no appetite. Mum told me the doctors talked about fatty fish and having tea and coffee *with White Sugar *. This leaves me baffled, as white Sugar has NO nutrients whatsoever.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.
