Yeah V. They were something special. I have been fortunate to own some incredible timepieces representing an Art era that stands up there with the Renaissance, and Giza, and Abu Simbel, and the Sistine Chapel etc. Here is something I actually put up for sale and have since reconsidered. Two receipt books from the Hambleton Hall in Liverpool dating back to 1961. And John Winston Lennon has signed it, and James Paul McCartney. And George. Back when they were kids. In leather jackets breaking down barriers. And I actually own Lennon's leather jacket that he wore as a teenager growing up in Liverpool.
And after a gig. They would load out the equipment. Neil Aspinall had a van that they used. But one of them would go to the management to settle the bill and get paid. So that is what you are seeing here. And there are numerous other "Mersey", or Liverpool bands from that era who have signed it. It is probably the oldest document that has their signature and the word "The Beatles" on the same page. Quite incredible.......
