How can I get warm?
It is interesting, nobody responds to my posts.
It seems, nobody has had a golden staph infection this severe, and lived to tell the story. So nobody knows the answer. That is OK. I am learning as I go.
Here are my conclusions so far:
It is best not to kill huge amounts of golden staph at any one time, but to continually kill it off, bit by bit. That way I don't become excessively cold.
I have also been taking the herb licorice. Licorice prevents too much water being excreted through the kidneys, which prevents too much water loss from the blood. Feeling cold, is associated with constriction of blood vessels. If you do lose too much water from the blood, which reduces blood pressure, you may get more constriction of blood vessels, and feel colder.
Including adequate salt in the diet is also important.
These may be of some benefit, but this infection makes me cold no matter what I do. It is just a matter of preventing it from becoming excessive.
I am sharing this in case others are in a similar situation, and can benefit from what I have learnt.
