Re: Still can't tolerate salt..

What milk thistle product do you use? You mentioned drinking it. Do you just buy bulk and make tea out of it? I'm thinking of trying it out now.

Pretty strange reaction with the cheese.

I read about liver damage from too much protein on many places. You can do a google search, and a lot comes up.

I doubt your liver is taking hits though, if you've been drinking milk thistle, and I'm sure your diet hasn't been like mine (what is your diet like?). From around early November, and solidly after December until mid-February, my diet was ONLY 85/15 ground beef and water. Nothing else. And I ate like 3 lbs of it every day. In mid-February I added a lot of fat trimmings, but I was still only eating meat and water. Only in the past few days have I been eating some almonds and a small piece of cucumber with my meals. That'll probably do it.

As far as fish oil, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I've been meaning to try taking some again. I started becoming reactive to fish oil last year in the fall, so I haven't been able to take it. Maybe things will be different now.

Let us know what your liver enzymes come out to be. I'm interested.
