Re: Still can't tolerate salt..

What kinds of reactions would you have with cheese? With me, aside from aggravating my hypoglycemia, it would make my heart feel stressed or overworked/tired for a while, with an elevated heartbeat. It was beating hard.

Not taking anything for liver detox, unfortunately. I might try milk thistle, but I'm pretty sensitive to everything these days. I have a bad feeling about milk thistle right now. I was thinking about trying dandelion, but the post here reminded me it is a diaretic and I don't know about that, with my already problematic hydration.

For the past 3 days I've been doing activated charcoal poultices over my liver. I've read a lot of good things about them, so hopefully the claims are all true. I'm really concerned about liver damage/failure/etc. On my labs last month, my ALT was 207, and the range was 21-71. Very high. Maybe I got hepatitis somehow. Can eating all that protein really cause so much liver damage so quickly? I'd think that my kidneys would be more stressed than they are if my liver was receiving that much damage from protein.
