Still can't tolerate salt..
Looks like I'm still not ready to add salt to my foods.
I just got done eating my meal, and I put a tiny pinch of salt on a small piece of cucumber, and ate it. It tasted pretty salty to me, but I didn't react to it instantly.
Now it's starting to mess with me, about 15 minutes later.
I feel thirsty deep inside, like in my chest, and it's starting to speed my heart up again, and I bet my BP. Last time I had some salt like that was a couple of weeks ago, and I almost ended up in the ER again.
The salt I'm using is Redmond's RealSalt.
Looks like I'm going to have to stick to the salt of the canned chicken and salmon I've been eating. It's too bad because all that protein is making my liver more and more painful every day. This morning when I got up, the pain was almost as if I got kicked by a boot or something.
Tomorrow I'm going to try eating a tiny bit of "Silver Goat Chevre", my favorite cheese. There is some salt in it, and I'll be getting at least a trace of calcium and other minerals, for my teeth among other things.
I had to stop eating cheese this past summer because I felt like it was stimulating too much insulin. My hypoglycemia got bad, so I just stopped. I read somewhere that calcium stimulates insulin release. Any of you have that experience?
The last time I tried a dairy product was Thanksgiving. My sister had made a salad with some kind of "feta" cheese. I put some of the salad in my mouth, and instantly my blood
Sugar dropped. I had to eat all kinds of raw beef to raise it. It may have been so bad also because about 20 minutes prior, I tried one drop of hawthorne tincture, and that was already by the time tinctures started messing with me too. Maybe it was the turkey also? I ate only one bite and stopped. My thanksgiving meal ended up being just ground beef and water. It was so delicious.
Anyways, perhaps tomorrow will be a better day, and one where I can eat at least a little cheese.
