Beth, I think this is a really nice idea. You are thinking a collage based upon photos ultimately are you not? based upon the artwork I've seen you are very good, they are all so pleasant to look at, it seems alot of love & emotion has gone into them.
I can't help some tears just based on the kind of week I've had (feeling really beat up, emotionally) and being reminded that my own mom was a landscape & portrait artist (a sculptor even) but in all the years she painted (even murals on the walls of our home, others) she never once did any of my or my brother. She did renditions of my dad, religious figures, many others, even was a professional photographer for a while -- yet, still, hardly any photos of us kids and no paintings. I never got that.
So whether you are able, or not to implement this, I know what work it is to do so, and can really appreciate this incredible offer, wow.
