Re: How do you know if pain is even related to Gallstones?

Yes yes yes! I have had the same thing and I definitely think I have an ulcer and not gallstones. The reason for this is simple, like you said the pain has been acute. I dont get them that often. But when I do, they come fast and they are very painful. I am almost in tears. And a heat pad helps them. Also advil kills the pain. Which if it was gallstones, I heard pain killers dont work. Thats another clue to look for.

But my question to every one is, what does an ulcer do? Since having these ulcers in my right side, I started to notice bad digestion. Slowly, but eventually it has lead to my problems. Atleast I think. What can an ulcer do to cause constipation, slow transit, depression, weight loss, and more?!!?
