Re: antioxidants and endometriosis

Hello Trimnut2~

I'm glad to hear about the wombat, apparently my minions are following my orders:)

Did you read the second link? That study was done on humans...:

"...They demonstrated that there was an inverse correlation with the pathology intensity depending on the antioxidant intake in women with endometriosis. As endometriosis severity intensifies there is less of an intake of antioxidants. They also demonstrated a positive association between the pathology development and the lipoperoxidation status....

...The researchers showed that antioxidant intake (vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium and zinc) in the women with endometriosis showed a significative statistical difference when compared with the control group, including the total group and those stratified in pathology stages..."

~ I felt that the nutritional advice given in the first link was sound, that's why I posted it. Perhaps I should have written an intro saying "look, people! Cows and humans have similar nutritional needs re: endometriosis and fertility!" ~but I did not. Thanks for the reminder to be clear with my postings...
