Adderall = Amphetamines Re: Adderall
Adderall is a brand-name psychostimulant medication composed of racemicamphetamine aspartate monohydrate, racemic amphetamine sulfate, dextroamphetamine saccharide, and dextroamphetamine sulfate, which is thought by scientists to work by increasing the amount of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain. (from wikipedia)
Stimulants of this caliber will induce adrenal issues, and will definitely & drastically worsen them. It is no more of a "medicine" than the old diet pills that contained amphetamines, or 'street drugs'. Messing around with amphetamines (of any type) is a good way to destroy our health.
Yes indeedy, they will likely do what you're hoping them to do, but when we chemically shove our neurotransmitters to unnaturally high levels, when the drug wears off the levels will drop to an unnaturally low level. And then the 'brain fog' will be worse and you'll be climbing out of a deficit situation that's even further down in the pit (and more difficult to overcome) than it is now.
Amphetamines in a prescription bottle are no less dangerous that 'street amphetamines, and might be even more dangerous because they're so pure.
I respect everyone's choice to do anything they want to their body, but I'd be amiss if I didn't point out the serious dangers.
CZ = educating *instead* of medicating.
