I have very similar problems to you by the sounds of it and i also have lots of mercury.... have you considered this at all? If the core of the problem is in fact heavy metals (which can cause impaired methylation) then you could have a bad reaction trying to increase methylation..

Sorry if i'm just repeating what others have said but i would seriously consider this if you haven't already..
