Bacterial vaginosis?

Okay, so when I went to my doc she also did a pap and said that I have BV. Is it possible to have that with no odor and have burning inside the vagina? I've been reading around tonight and it looks like it's often accompanied by burning in the urethra. I do admit that sometimes I can't quite tell which part of me is burning, whether it's my bladder or my vagina. So... Maybe I just have bv? I'm confused. Sometimes it feels destinctly in the bladder though and some times in my vagina. I try hard to pay attention. Maybe it started in my vagina and worked it's way up through my urethra?

If it is BV, garlic? Seems scary! What about something cooling and soothing that also kills bacteria?

My doc had me douche with Iodine in water, but it burned so I stopped, but maybe it would have been burning anyways.
