It's 50s technology with 2011 prices.
The Omega is far superior to the Champion and far more efficient because it's being improved upon constantly. I'd say go for an Omega 8xxx if you can afford it and are serious about your health. I got mine on amazon.com for $242 shipped. I've seen like new ones sell on eBay for $150 to $200.
