I got a new Omega 8004 for $242 shipped a month or so ago. I think it's the best juicer I've ever had. I had a LaLanne that I thought was good for what it was, but it wasn't chrome, it was white and didn't deposit plastic in the juice. I've also had Champion, L'Equip (that I didn't like), Juiceman [so so], and Acme.
The Omega is very efficient, quiet, and waranteed 15 years.
