I have an omega single auger...
I really would like to have a vert... but will be getting a Vitamix or something similar first.
And I have a L'equip wide mouth... I use this for things that jam the Omega... like pineapple and softer fruits. Sometimes if I am
juicing hard vegetables with the fruit, I can alternate them in the omega just fine, and sometimes not.
But then, I do not do fruit much anymore since too much sugar, including fruit sugars are not so good for me. A pieace of fruit a day is enough... and then, I do not want to juice it - I want the whole fruit!
I agree with Uny on the centrifugal juicers though... for the most part... Some are much better than others... I think the L'Equip is one of the best ones for the $$$, around $100, with a 10 year warranty. I have had my wide mouth 4+ years now with absolutely no issues at all... and I think it is fun to use and a breeze to clean.
I do use the L'Equip most often for fresh apple juice - the very sour\tart apples on the trees outside - which tends to jam the omega... and I then use, and mix the apple pulp into my homemade sauerkraut and warm it up - yummy!
My thoughts are this... get the juicer you will use regardless of type, though again I reiterate, I agree with Uny.
If you are seriously dealing with health issues... then, you should spend what you must to get the best. And the best bang for the buck then is likely the single augers - strong motors, low RPMs.
