Looking at those two posts by themselves might give such an appearance; however, when taken in context perhaps not so much so.

Put in proper context, the two posts by DQ were both made at a time when another poster was mounting attacks against DQ in multiple threads and forums.  Besides those attack posts referring to DQ as a liar, which anyone who has been around CureZone any time knows is blatantly false, they also questioned his knowledge, research and writing ability (to put what was actually said in much more polite terms).

For one small example (and actually one of that other poster's more polite posts), just look at what the second link in your message was responding to (and all the shots it took at DQ):

Given that context, perhaps it was not nearly as narcissistic as it might otherwise seem for DQ to take a couple of opportunities to point out that he was highly regarded at other highly regarded sites and sources and was not mere fodder for the other poster's never-ending cannon as he was being portrayed.
