OMG! That is horrible. I think you need a new doctor even if it takes 100 to believe you! My fear is that my story is similar to yours and I don't want to find strongyloids. I have been chronically ill for five years now. At first they thought it was lupus then Rheumatoid arthritis and now chronic fatigue. I have had 2 major surgeries and the last one (my gall-bladder removal) was right before I started getting sick.

My biggest complaint is muscle pain mostly in my calves and thighs and my right forearm. My muscles twitch as well. I explain it to the doctors like it feels like my muscles are constantly working. Nerve and muscle tests were normal.

My other problem has been pain and headache on the right side of my head. My right eye bothers me all the time and it feels like there is something in it. At one point I woke up with bells palsey that only lasted a few days. My nose is always stuffy and lately I've been blowing thick green stuff but I don't have a sinus infection. My nose itches all the time.

I have been feeling a little better since I started the Albenza Thursday night. It was only one dose so I am really looking forward to getting the Humaworm. Today I woke up with red bumps on the right side of my face next to the eye that bothers me which I find interesting. I am convinced that these parasites are what is causing most of my problems.
