Re: Hashimoto's question
You may have damaged
Iodine symporters. Try adding the
Iodine co-factors (100mg of Riboflavin and 500mg of Niacin (as Inositol hexanicotinate).

Taking
Lugols in OJ converts the
Iodine to iodide, I think. Maybe the thyroid is missing the iodine. Keep taking the iodine, companion supplements and doing the salt pushes. You may need to increase the frequency of salt pushes to help flush out the bromide. Are you taking anything for the liver to help it deal with the detoxing? Milk thistle and N-acetyl-cysteine are helpful.
coffee enemas are good too. You may have damaged iodine symporters. Try adding the iodine co-factors (100mg of Riboflavin and 500mg of Niacin (as Inositol hexanicotinate).

Are you still eating gluten? It is common for hashimoto's people to have problems with gluten, even if you test negative for gluten antibodies. Gluten may be attributing to your continuing neck pain. My mother, who has hashimotos, had the blood test as well as biopsy come out negative, however she finds she has more energy when she avoids gluten. My brother, also has hasimotos, has had painful geographical tongue/lichen planus for more than 7 years. It started out as a small white patch which grew over the years. He just started going gluten free about a month and has noticed positive results already with his tongue. Hot and spicy foods are less painful.
