They should have also included caffeine containing beverages since caffeine is a diuretic and therefore contributes to dehydration. Purified waters such as distilled and reverse osmosis waters are also diuretic and so should be avoided. Mineralized waters, such as spring water are the best since they are better at hydrating the body and provide beneficial minerals to the body.
