Re: Cordyceps Mushrooms

It seems these are standardized for immune support. But, I think medicinal mushrooms, especially cordyceps and reishi, are so far-reaching in their effects, that you'd really get more benefits from the fungus in its entirety, and unadulterated. Just looking at the Cordyceps in there, it's only the whole fruiting body. What about the mycelium? (Note, my great grandmother's healing process was strictly through the mycelium.) Spores? Etc.

I'd still recommend Aloha's, b/c for 3 bottles, it's cheaper, and you get A LOT more cordyceps that happens to be not only full spectrum, but 5X as potent as the wild cordyceps that grows in Tibet.

I also saw a 4:1 cordyceps extract for $77 -- you get 2.2 pounds of it for that price. Now that's A LOT of cordyceps. I don't know what parts of the mushroom are used, though, or where it's grown, etc. If it's from China (even if wild-harvested in Tibet, which would be a lot more expensive) there are concerns about lead content, since lead wires are often inserted to increase the weight.
