the main difference between barley grass and wheatgrass is that barley tastes bitter, whereas wheat tastes sweet.

For some people the wheat grass is just too sweet, it can be sickeningly sweet. But for some people that barley to is just too bitter

What you can do is grow both and then juice both together this will give you a mixture of sweet and bitter.

This is all just a personal preference.
