I've always had best luck with wheat grass grown in soil in the earth. I find that far superior to the stuff that is grown in trays inside
Because I live in an apartment now I don't have the ability to grow it outside so I haven't done any for a while
At one point I was doing about 12 to 16 ounces per day and my energy was through the roof! But you have to work up to that amount
It gives you great energy and mental acuity. Another thing it does it cranks up your bowels. It doesn't cause of urgency, but it definitely revs up the entire digestive system. Your bowel movements will turn a very very dark green almost black if you drink enough of it. This is a combination of the chlorophyll from the wheat grass and all of the toxins being drawn out into your waste.
One or 2 ounces per day will certainly be beneficial. But you don't get truly therapeutic, life-changing results until you hit about 6 to 8 ounces per day. Anyway that's been my experience and the experience of those who I have done this with
If you have a small patch of garden I highly suggest you try going outside in the soil. That is the real deal! That is the good stuff. Just remember to cover the ground with some type of covering long enough for the seeds to sprout otherwise the birds will come and eat most of them.any kind of a cloth or blanket or sheet or anything like that will be fine
the grass is the best at 8 to 10 inches. That's when it has reached the height of its goodness. But I have harvested it at much higher than that and it was fine
