Re: Is this set-up good?

Here is one link that lends some info: There are others including the Dr. Pressman website that offers extensive (and somewhat varying) info.

Generally.....for sauna you should try for a 1/8 to 1/2 LPM flow of O2......for ear insufflations between 1/32 and 1/8. The lower the better.

I believe the only time you would want a higher then 1LPM flow rate would be when you are ozonating olive oil. Then I think you would want as hihj a flow rate as 4 or 5 LPM.

Gina....you are in the same boat I was in. I had a standard O2 concentrator (1-5 LPM). From what I understand you need to have a lower flow of O2 to get to the therapeutic levels of O3 - Ozone concentrations. This is why I purchased the Pediatric Flow Meter. If you are using an oxygen tank as your O2 source you could get a flow regulator (pretty cheap) to get the therapeutic values of O2. If you have a concentrator (like me) then you either had to buy it as a pediatric concentrator or adapt it.

The Pediatric Flowmeter that I just bought to adapt my concentrator is from Invacare (Invacare Pediatric Flow Meter) and cost me about $200.00. Just google the item and you will see the vendors.

Now....even without the PFM I am sure you are still recieving valur from the O2/O3 concentration that you have. You probably just have to do it for longer durations for similiar results. So if I were doing a 15 minute ear insufflation @ a 1/8 rate of flow you might want to do it for an hour or so @ 1 LPM.

There....I am sure that it's all as clear as mud for everybody including myself..LOL!!...Regardless...just keep getting the ozone into however you can.
