We "recruited" a few people who were having problems with urinary tract infections. Instructed them on the idea of oxidation and gave them some sodium chlorite to try along with instructions on how to mix. I provided enough chemicals to mix up 30 liters of water and left them with the instructions to let me know if it helped. I also provided information on proper daily hydration. While we only had 4 people, 3 female and 1 male, I had heard back from all of them with positive results after three days. That was over two years ago, and I have not heard back from them with either a request for more chemicals, or with any further questions about dealing with urinary tract infections.
The lower concentrations involved and short duration exposure to the chemicals did not raise oxidative stress concerns.
