Re: day 8 - uphill until...
I may not believe in God but do believe in angels after seeing your pretty face.
And it does sound like you are pretty low in fat already and of course very long fasts when you run out of fat reserves are going to start causing weakness, the body has to have some type of fuel to burn.It will burn muscle and stuff after the fat stores are exhausted but this is pretty much what starvation is. Most people especially women usually have fair amount of fat even if they are considered pretty skinny unless they drive the bodyfat down with lotsand lots of exercise and really low calories. So for most people it should be safe to fast for several weeks at least.
And yeah dizziness is to be expected, they say to take a couple of deep breaths when getting up from lying or think even sitting and to get up slow. And to lie down again or go down on one knee to stop the dizziness.
Please don't think I am totally anti God. Just am not a conventionally religious person. I believe there are lots of more advanced beings in this the physical universe and some of those are surely Godlike to us just like we would be godlike to primitive people if we showed up with a helicopter and other advanced technology. There are stars without counting in the universe and planets beyond number as well. And surely many of those planets have life and some have to be much farther advanced.
I do think there is a "god" likely in the higher planes beyond the physical. I do believe we have a soul /astral body or whatever you want to call it that can exist beyond death but tend to like the idea of rebirth and that we evolve thru these rebirths.
Anyway this is not the place to talk about religion of course, this is a fasting forum and the two are not necessarily related.
So back on track. Keep up the good work.I had a great day today on day 9 and hoping next week goes by as well as the fast has up to this point.
