Gosh makes me realize I would love to see a place for peoples stories on this forum for people who have been around for awhile

Your story reminds me of the need for long haul frame of mind...which I have, especially after I talking with Brownstein 2 years and learning he watched his bromide levels spike when he started taking Iodine and then stay high four four years before they dropped down again....and that was him taking 50mg of Iodoral...I don't know what else he was doing...

I have a client that sees me regularly and we got her on 12.5 mg Iodoral 1 1/2 years ago and she had really quick improvement in her breasts within 3 months or so.....no detox except some hot flashes for awhile

then after a year she started getting some fatigue and she had a uterine fibroid that was not going away. So she upped the Iodoral to 50mg. Again no detox. And now after 6 months at that dosage she has noticed that the outer 1/3 of her eyebrows are starting to fill in.

I have friends that had a naturopath (who is one that gave me brownsteins book, and is a friend) that got them started on Iodine and they stopped after several months because they didn't notice anything....that was about two years ago......after all the reading I have done lately, I got them to do an Iodine loading test and bromide test....they were both high in Bromide, so I talked to them about the virtues of taking Iodine for the long haul and how it can take a long time for Iodine to make a difference in some cases and for the bromide to come out and some people don't have much detox so they may not notice anything at first

That naturopath hardly recommmends Iodine now because I think she didn't see enough changes fast enough and she is not a big fan of testing...

anyway I am rambling ...kind of.....i guess what I am trying to say is that it can be really tough to get some people to believe in the necessity of Iodine if they are not symptomatic and they detox easy.....

hmmmmm......where was I going with that?????
