Memories are beautiful, please feel free to post them.

When my Dad was fighting in the war in Vietnam, my Mother would put on his old boots, and have conversations with him, even though he was so far away. She would also wash his clothes and hang them out on the washing line, just so she could feel close to him.

My Grandson is always the first to pick the watermelons, even when they are not ripe, the few weeks it takes to ripen them, must seem like years to him :)
