Re: Liver Flush for cancer patient

We have discussed this with both my parents. He keeps saying that he wants to fight, like I've said many times it is the pain---he just can't take the pain. As far as his affairs, they are all taken care of. He hates taking drugs and will go all day without the morphine, he doesn't like to be doped up. We tell him every day that if he wants to stop, we will. I think we just have to wait and see what happens with the pain block and go from there. My question before was more along the line of how do you know that the treatment is working? And when should you stop doing it if it is not working? We don't know how much of his liver has been damaged, the body can survive on 10%, but to regenerate I think you need more than 10%. We have no clue how much of the liver has been killed by the cancer. Medical doctors don't want to get involved with alternative treatmnet, they say we are just wasting our money, so we can't get any answer from them, they just want to dope him up and let him die. It is so frustrating. If we could just see inside and know what was going on, then that would make things easier.
