Re: Liver Flush for cancer patient

I was thinking the exact same thing Uniquity when you mentioned hospice. I worked hospice in the past also, and I know first hand how hard it is to be a caregiver (my mom also died in hospice 10 years ago at home.)
It is imperative that you sit down and talk with your mom and dad and find out what he wants to do. Does he want to try alternative therapies??? If his heart isn't in it and just wants to be blissfully doped up on morphine, that is his option, not yours to impose. I know you want to help him, but you might be making the situation worse by "trying to beat this." He might need to focus his energies in getting his affairs in order rather than doing coffee enemas. Maybe all the strength he has is drinking one ensure a day, not carrot or spinach juice.
Sit down and talk frankly as a family and find out what direction you need to go.
If you need a shoulder to cry on, I would be willing to listen. Email me if you feel the need.
