It has helped me, along with energy work. This is my story.

I first learned I had lyme when a Toftness chiro muscle tested me. He put three vials in my hand and my arm went down. He used vials and an Erchonia laser to clear me and make my immune system stronger. I had flare ups and die off, my anxiety went away after the second treatment. He cleared me of mercury, nickel and bromide also.

I had started on Iodine the year before after a period of extreme lethargy but I only took up to 35mg/day. I was better but had more to go. My adrenals were on their last leg.

After the initial laser treatments, I went to another chiro who is a Nutritional Respsonse Testing practitioner and has a BAX 3000 laser. He determined that my C-section scar was causing my adrenals to crash. I rubbed sesame seed oil on the scar and had it lasered with the BAX. After that, I had minor body traumas where my adrenals worsened, I then rubbed Iosol Iodine on the areas and the adrenals perked right up.

I was getting laser for my gum disease which caused certain teeth to become hyper-sensitive to EMF's. One minute of TV would send shooting pains into my skull. I doused my mouth with Lugol's, after trying everything else I could think of. The Lugol's gave me instant relief. It was then that I upped my dosage to 100mg/day (ingested) and slept with Iosol on my face. I visited my NRT chiro and he determined I had a parasite in my left lung which was affecting my parathyroid and mineral uptake. I started taking Wormwood , continued with Iodine (it was the iodine that made the parasites start moving around) and received BAX 3000 treatments weekly. My head is almost cleared up but the lung still needs more help, will do iodine in the nebulizer for that.

I then sent my blood to Dr. Bigelsen and he found that my body was inflamed because of my varicose vein stripping I had years ago which makes for a good environment for parasites. He uses Neural Therapy but I now use Iosol iodine and have been putting it on my scars to clear the interference fields.

I am doing well, better when the sun shines, but I am doing really great compared to others I know who have gone through the same process as me, minus the iodine. Others are doing ABX and they don't believe me about the iodine.

I started giving iodine to my crazy female cat. She was wanting to eat all day and was attacking me. She is getting nice a fat and now lets me pet her without attacking me. She asks for her iodine everyday. She also gets Solgar selenium. I realized she needed it when I couldn't find some extra pieces I had laying around. She was eating them.

Dr. Bigelsen says he can help 80% of the lyme patients who see him and I say that iodine is the other 20% but even he has his limitations.

I follow Dr. Brownstein's iodine protocol and eat only organic, range fed, consume Bentonite clay.
