I agree with Gavster. I think it's a better idea to supplement your adrenals and let the sex hormones take care of themselves. I personally wouldn't start with hydrocortisone. I suggest isocort to supplement cortisol if you need to. But even before that I think it would be best to support your adrenals with b vitamins, vitamin c (not megadosing), good fats: butter and coconut oil, minerals and any other vitamins/ nutrients that your body might be lacking.

My initial advanced adrenal fatigue got triggered because of dhea and thyroid glandular that my naturopath prescribed. Then progesterone cream made my estrogen dominance worse. I now focus on the adrenals and overall health with vitamins and minerals. Messing with hormones is dangerous if you ask me.
