In some eastern religious traditions, it's recommended to not eat garlic if you want to be spiritually elevated. They say it "causes anger", etc. I don't believe that garlic is the fundamental "cause". I think that raw garlic just stirs up intestinal parasites, kills them, and then their death throes produce toxic matter which ends up in the brain, at least if your liver is plugged and can't handle this material. Which all of you know anyway, but this is a favourite topic of mine. Natural healers of today and those who practice these eastern traditions just keep parroting this anti-garlic propaganda.
How can any food "cause" anger (or any other emotion)?
